Experience deep rest and relaxation for body and soul. Class includes guided deep relaxation to centre and ground you, and a soul-nurturing meditation practice to bring you home to yourself. The perfect balance to your more active practices. Suitable for all levels.
PRACTICE LAB (ADVANCED)
Fire up every inch of your body with this vigorous class that challenges you to explore the joy of deeper practice. We’ll move with lightness and grace through a set sequence that includes inversions and arm balances. Teacher practices along with students in this led practice set to fun music and designed to connect you to the playful side of yoga. In Practice lab we all work together to help each other grow. Deep poses will be explored, some yoga experience required.
Restorative Yoga focuses on relaxing the body in restful postures, giving the body an chance to renew and heal itself. Restorative Yoga helps to trigger the Parasympathetic Nervous System which helps to lower heart rate and blood pressure, and stimulate the immune system. Different to Yin Yoga where the purpose of relaxation is going deeper in a pose, in Restorative Yoga relaxation is for the purpose of relaxation.
SUNRISE SLOW FLOW
A light and creative flow at a slower and more contemplative pace. Expect fluid movement through a variety of postures, gentle breath work, and guided relaxation/meditation. Great for beginners, or for more experienced students who want a gentler practice.
Yin Yoga is a perfect way to balance your more dynamic ‘Yang’ practices at the gym and on the mat. Still yet deeply moving, a Yin practice releases tension and nourishes the body’s non-contractile tissues, while balancing the body’s meridians. Gently nourishing and deeply intense, Yin is often the missing piece in a well-rounded regimen of training or practice. No prior yoga experience necessary. *Suitable for all levels.
